QUICK & EASY Mommy Makeup

Hey everyone! I filmed a tutorial on MY quick and easy mommy makeup look. This is a look I wear a lot because I don't always wear makeup expecially not when I'm in mommy mode (i.e. making breakfast, running errands, dropping off my wee one at school etc.). It only takes me like 7 minutes to do this especially since I have been doing this for quite some time now so I have perfected it. Anyway, I hope all the mommy's enjoy and this just goes to show you that you don't need a lot of makeup to look like you're put together and refreshed and to always take the extra 5-7 minutes for yourself!

Ximena Navarette (Miss Universe 2010) Inspired Makeup

This look is inspired by the always stunning and beautiful Ximena Navarette who hails from my beloved MEXICO! She is a former Miss Mexico and 2010 Miss Universe. She is always stunningly gorgeous, always looks great and always has a perfect makeup. I love when she wears this smokey eye that isn't too dramatic or Jersey Whoreish, it is perfect even for daytime. So after seeing her in numerous pictures, I had to re-create this look. Hope you all enjoy!

Foundation: Tips & Techniques

This video is more focused on foundation techniques than basics. It isn't about choosing the right foundation, undertones or types of foundation but rather about applying foundation, the proper twchniques to do so and  the types of brushes I use to apply foundation. Hope you find this video helpful.

Daytime Smokey Eye

Hey everyone! I finally got around to posting a new makeup tutorial! Woohoo! One New Years resolution down, 99 to go! lol This is a daytime smokey look I wear when I don't want a bold smokey or plain neutral look. I am using the Lancome 5 pan color design palette for this look so it's quite easy since all the colors are in one little palette. I skipped out on the eyeliner since it is for daytime. After the pictures is a list for everything I used in this tutorial. Enjoy and have a great day!!!

NOTD

Today's nail polish of the day is from China Glaze. The color I am wearing is called Black Diamond. It is a shimmer nail polish (shimmer, not glitter) that is a dark (very dark) gray with some specks of shimmer, I would probably call it off black as well, but it's not completely black. I've had this color for quite some time and I love to wear it as an alternative to just plain ol' black nail polish. In the light it looks like a darkened pewter. I like that it has little flecks of shimmer but not overpowered by GLITTER, as I'm not a huge glitter nail polish fan. I have to work on getting a new camera because the one I currently have doesn't do a good job of showing the 'true color' when it comes to nail polish and makeup looks. But I posted the pics anyway :)

P.S. Don't forget ladies, the darker the polish, the shorter the nail should be :)
